Jack Riewoldt continued his first-rate form at Giants Stadium with a five-goal haul in Richmond’s six-point win against Greater Western Sydney yesterday.

The triple Tiger premiership star key forward has kicked a total of 30 goals in eight games at the venue.

That’s an average of 3.75 goals per match, which is his best at any AFL ground (for more than one game).

It was the Tigers’ first win against GWS at Giants Stadium since Riewoldt kicked a career-high 11 goals in Round 10 of the 2014 season.

The last time Riewoldt played there before yesterday’s clash, he scored five goals against Adelaide in Round 11, 2021, which was during the second Covid-affected AFL season.

Riewoldt played a pivotal role in Richmond’s thrilling victory over the Giants in the early Sunday afternoon encounter with 15 disposals, an equal game-high eight marks, game-high three contested marks, the five goals, and an equal game-high 10 score involvements.

He has 21 goals from 11 games this season for an overall tally of 776 goals in 337 games.
