After a relatively slow start to the season, talented, hard-running young Richmond midfielder Brandon Ellis has cranked his motor up and is now firing on all cylinders.
Ellis failed to reach the 20-disposal mark in any of the opening three matches this season, but has picked up 20-plus in each of the 13 games since. On nine of those occasions, he’s racked up 25 disposals or more.

Ellis averaged 15.7 disposals per match in his 2012 debut season with the Tigers and 18.6 in 2013. This season, he is averaging a highly-impressive 25.9 disposals per game, with a season-high of 36 coming in the Round 15 win against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
The 20-year-old (he turns 21 on August 3) is ranked No. 1 at Tigerland for handballs (171), No. 1 for uncontested possessions (305), No. 1 for rebound-50s (56), equal No. 1 for bounces (17), No. 2 for total marks (92), No. 3 for kicks (243) and No. 3 for total disposals (414).
He is No. 5 in the competition for uncontested possessions and No. 8 for total kicks.
