Richmond co-captain Dylan Grimes will enter a 15th season at the Club, having put pen to paper on a fresh contract for 2024.
The experienced defender, 31, has not missed a game this season- playing a key role in Richmond's defence with his continued ability to man dangerous opposition forwards.

In 2023, Grimes has put in strong curtailing jobs on Jamarra Ugle-Hagan (0 goals), Jack Darling (1 goal), and Brody Mihocek (1), underlining his importance to the team.
The 194cm versatile stopper also held lively Melbourne forward Bayley Fritsch goalless across 71 minutes as his direct opponent in the Anzac Day eve blockbuster at the MCG.

Grimes ranks #2 at Richmond for spoils this season and has a one-on-one contest loss rate of just 25 percent.
Grimes and Toby Nankervis became the 41st and 42nd Richmond Football Club VFL/AFL captains when they were appointed co-captains in February 2022, adding to the defender's long-regarded leadership credentials.
The triple premiership player was an All-Australian in 2019 and Jack Dyer Medalist in 2021. He is also a two-time winner of the Francis Bourke Award for best embodying Richmond's team values.
Richmond General Manager, Football Talent Blair Hartley said it was exciting to have Grimes locked in for 2024.
"Dylan has thrived since being voted in by his peers to captain the Club and continues to be a consistent performer for us on game day," he said.
"His leadership, drive, and guidance on and off the field for his teammates is first class, helping to improve other players and our football program as a whole.
“We look forward to Dylan continuing to add to the outstanding contribution he has made to Richmond over 14-years.”
