Richmond has received a big boost to its midfield for Saturday's clash with West Coast at the MCG, welcoming back important duo Dion Prestia and Jack Graham.

The pair return from general soreness and a hamstring injury respectively.

Rounding out the inclusions is dashing defender Hugo Ralphsmith, recalled for his fifth senior appearance of the season after collecting 21 disposals, seven inside-50s and two goals in the VFL last weekend.

The three additions replace Trent Cotchin, who is being managed, Tylar Young, who will miss with a lower leg injury, and omitted pair Noah Cumberland and Tyler Sonsie.

Exciting young Tiger Judson Clarke, last week's activated substitute, has cemented his place in the starting 22 for Round 8.

Senior coach Damien Hardwick said gutsy Graham was "ready to go" for his first outing since Round 4.

"Is it going to be at his very best? He might be a little bit short. But, we know he's certainly a very capable, exciting player for us," Hardwick said when speaking to the media on Thursday morning.

Richmond's four emergencies for the match are Cumberland, Jacob Bauer, Rhyan Mansell and Thomson Dow.

The Tigers will confirm which player steps into the 23 to be the substitute 60 minutes before the opening bounce.

Saturday's game will be broadcast live on FOX FOOTY and Kayo Sports.
