Three-time premiership defender Nathan Broad is back after serving a four-match suspension, while ruckman Ivan Soldo will play his first senior game of the season after recovering from plantar fasciitis.
Rounding out the inclusions are young midfield duo Jack Ross and Tyler Sonsie, who have both been recalled to the senior side.
The additions replace Dion Prestia and Maurice Rioli, who will miss the clash through general soreness and a hamstring strain respectively.
Rhyan Mansell, Judson Clarke, and last week's activated substitute Hugo Ralphsmith, have been omitted.
All three have been named as emergencies, alongside Jacob Bauer.
Speaking to the media on Friday morning, senior coach Damien Hardwick stressed Broad's importance to the Tigers' defensive unit.
"He's one of those players that plays on a really good opposition player," Hardwick said.
"We're looking forward to Nathan taking on the challenge (of playing on Gold Coast's Jack Lukosius) and hopefully beating him."
Twenty-seven-year-old Soldo will play his 50th AFL game this Sunday.
"(Soldo's inclusion) will spread the load for our talls which will be a better result for us," Hardwick said.
"He's one of those guys who doesn't let the pressure of the game get to him."
Ross joins the line-up off the back of an impressive VFL outing last weekend which included 31 disposals, 10 marks, eight inside-50s, six tackles and two goals.
"We love him as a player... With Dion going out, he'll get that opportunity to come through the middle part of the ground so we're really excited for him to grab that opportunity and make it his own," Hardwick said.
"We see this kid as a long-term part of our footy club... We're a better side for having him in it."
The Tigers will confirm which player steps into the 23 to be the substitute 60 minutes before the opening bounce.
Sunday's game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, FOX FOOTY and Kayo Sports.
