Jayden Short could make his return from injury, while last year's mid-season draft recruit Jacob Bauer is a chance to play his first AFL game in the Yellow and Black.

Young midfielder Jack Ross and last weekend's activated substitute Maurice Rioli also feature in the squad.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, star Tiger Dion Prestia said the annual clash was "a great honour" to be a part of.

"It's an amazing feeling when you come out of the race, when the lights are off and the cauldron is getting lit," he said.

"The atmosphere is awesome, but (it's) the meaning behind it and the Anzac Day Game on Tuesday as well."
