Richmond has recalled three Tiger cubs for Friday night's match against Collingwood at the MCG.
Promising youngsters Jack Ross, Hugo Ralphsmith and Judson Clarke all return to the starting line-up for the blockbuster clash.
Ross was Richmond's activated substitute in Round 1, while Ralphsmith and Clarke have been named for their first senior outings of 2023.
The trio were all big contributors to the VFL Tigers' 47-point win over the Northern Bullants in last weekend's opening round, particularly Ross, who recorded 29 disposals, 13 marks, six inside-50s, six rebound-50s and a goal.
"He looks above the level every time he plays VFL," VFL coach Steve Morris said of Ross.
"Couldn't have asked for more from him in terms of attitude, and his game impact was extremely high, mainly from a wing, and half-back late in the game."
Hard-running Ralphsmith, who played in a variety of positions in the VFL clash, will be a versatile addition to the side, while emerging Tiger Clarke will add plenty of spark.
The inclusions replace Dustin Martin (managed), Jayden Short (calf), Jacob Hopper (knee) and Nathan Broad (suspension).
Speaking to the media on Thursday morning, senior coach Damien Hardwick said he held great confidence in his developing Tigers.
"One thing we spoke about at the start of the year is the depth and talent we have at the development level," he said.
"Those guys have been playing above the level at VFL, so that's a positive for us.
"We're really excited to give those guys a chance... I can't wait to see how they go."
Rhyan Mansell, Richmond's activated substitute in last Saturday's win over Adelaide, has also been named in the starting 22.
Richmond's four emergencies for the game are Thomson Dow, Ben Miller, Noah Cumberland and Tyler Sonsie.
The Tigers will confirm which player steps into the 23 to be the substitute 60 minutes before the opening bounce.
Two-time premiership Tiger Jack Graham will celebrate his 100th AFL game on Friday night, while coach Hardwick will reach the 300-game coaching milestone.
The clash at the 'G kicks off at 7.50pm and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
