Richmond pair Dion Prestia and Jayden Short look set for the Tigers' season opener against Carlton at the Melbourne Cricket Ground this Thursday night.

After recovering well from their respective pectoral and calf injuries sustained in Richmond's practice match against Melbourne, the duo are on track for Round 1 providing they get through Wednesday's Captain Run at the Swinburne Centre.
Also available for selection are Jack Graham, who missed the Tigers' pre-season clashes due to a toe issue, Marlion Pickett, who has overcome an adductor injury, and Jack Ross, who suffered a left medial ligament strain at training at the beginning of the month.
Robbie Tarrant (hip) and Ivan Soldo (foot) are among those who will unavailable for the clash with the Blues.
Richmond's Round 1 side will be announced at 6.20pm on Wednesday night at richmondfc.com.au.
