Richmond may be three games plus percentage out of the top eight, with just four home-and-away rounds remaining, but the Tigers are determined to keep the finals flame flickering . . .

A 48-point victory over Brisbane at the Gabba last Saturday night ended a sequence of three consecutive losses by less than a goal and, with the scent of success back in their nostrils, the Tigers are striving to finish the season on a winning note.

Elusive small forward, Robbie Nahas, who kicked three goals in Richmond’s win against the Lions, to take his season’s tally to an impressive 30, said before today’s training session at Victoria Park that everything would have to go right from here for the Tigers to be part of the finals action in 2012, but they certainly hadn’t given up hope.

“We definitely want to go out there and play well and give our fans something to look forward to,” Nahas said.

“We know we have to win every game and sides above us have to fall over a little bit, but if we continue to play well and just work out what we have to do, hopefully it works out . . .

“We still believe that we are a chance.

“We don’t go out thinking we’ll give it our best shot because there are no consequences.”
