Richmond is delighted with the news that goalkicking great Michael Roach is out of hospital and recovering back home following heart surgery.
Roach, a dual Coleman Medallist, who kicked 607 goals in an illustrious 200-game playing career with the Tigers from 1977-89, including a club season record 112 in the 1980 premiership year, recently underwent major bypass surgery after suffering a heart attack.
The 64-year-old idol of so many Yellow and Black barrackers is in good spirits and looking forward to watching his beloved Tigers in action throughout the 2023 season.
We wish Disco the very best as he continues his recuperation.
Our family was thrilled to receive a call from Michael Roach to say he is now back at home and fighting fit!
