Richmond AFLW coach Ryan Ferguson says the Tigers will take important lessons from their qualifying final loss to Brisbane into next week's semi-final.
Ferguson said his side was "hurting" after the 17-point defeat at Metricon Stadium in their first ever final, but they were already excited for next week's challenge.
"I think the perspective is good," he said.
"They understand where we're at. We've got the double chance and we can use what happened today and put it into practice next week.
"We knew we had to be at our absolute best and we don't think we did bring that... We think we can be better."
Ferguson said a key takeaway from the match was that the Tigers need to "be more aggressive in what we do".
"We showed in the last quarter and early when we put a bit more speed on the ball and backed our game and were a bit more aggressive," he said.
"In the second quarter we went a bit safe.
"(We need to) make sure we don't go into our shells.
Ferguson lauded defender's Libby Graham's work under pressure.
"Her and Bec Miller got better as the game wore on, under a lot of heat and a lot of balls coming in, they did a pretty good job," Ferguson said.
"That's their strength, they're full of character and compete really hard."
