Superstar Richmond midfielder Monique Conti will on Saturday become the second AFLW Tiger to reach the 50-game milestone.

Following Sarah Hosking, Richmond's first player to reach the feat earlier this season, Conti will notch her 50th game in the Tigers' first ever final against Brisbane at Metricon Stadium.

The 22-year-old sensation started her career at the Western Bulldogs, where she was best on ground in their 2018 AFLW Grand Final win as an 18-year-old.

She played 15 games for the Bulldogs before Richmond traded their number one draft pick in exchange for her ahead of its first season in the competition, and she certainly hasn't disappointed in the Yellow and Black.

Now a triple Richmond AFLW Best & Fairest and three-time All Australian, Conti has averaged over 20 disposals per season since arriving as an inaugural AFLW Tiger, and is a member of the team's leadership group.

The star Tiger, who has also represented Australian in basketball, said it was extra special to be playing her milestone game in the Club's inaugural final.

"Playing 50 games is pretty cool, now I'm in my sixth season I kind of feel like I'm a veteran," Conti said.

"It's been a really good journey with ups and downs... It's been tough but at the same time it's been nothing but enjoyable.

"I've loved it and I love the club I'm at and the people around me."

Conti said it was a "really exciting" time to be at Tigerland, after enduring some tougher times in their earlier seasons in the competition.

"It's been a tough journey but I would't change it," she said.

"There's a reason we are where we are, it's because we went through all those seasons and losses, where we weren't able to win games, so we're finally where we want to be.

"We've been building to this moment and we're finally here, so we're really excited to see where we can go from here and see how we far go and what this program can do," Conti said.

A seasoned finals player, Conti will be leaning on that experience in this Saturday's qualifying final on the Gold Coast.

"I've played finals before so I know what it's going to be like," she said.

"There are some tough games coming up and it's going to go up a level, but I know our group is definitely prepared for that."

Conti said the Tigers' success when travelling together this season, coupled with their proven ability to win close games, will have prepared them for the challenges ahead.

"We've travelled quite well.... We're a really well-connected team off the field as well which I think is really important and that's going to help us," she said.

"We've really developed in the fact that we know how to win games and we know how to run on top of teams at the end.

"We're in a really good position and having all those tough and close close games really prepares us for what's going to be a tough finals

"We're there to do a job and that's what we're going to focus on."

Fellow Tiger Ellie McKenzie will play her 25th AFLW game on Saturday.
