The changing face of the playing group at Tigerland was highlighted in last Wednesday night’s 43-point Anzac Eve win against Melbourne at the MCG.
Richmond went into the match with eight changes to its line-up from the corresponding blockbuster fixture in 2018.

Out of the side that defeated the Demons by 46 points a year ago were captain Trent Cotchin, co vice-captain Alex Rance, Shaun Grigg, Dan Butler, Jake Townsend, Jayden Short, Reece Conca and Sam Lloyd.
Cotchin, Rance, Grigg and Short are currently sidelined through injury. Butler and Townsend have been playing at VFL level, while Conca and Lloyd departed the Club at the end of the 2018 season.
They were replaced in the Tigers’ team for this year’s Anzac Eve clash by teenage trio Noah Balta, Jack Ross and Sydney Stack, along with Liam Baker, Tom Lynch, Nick Vlastuin, Josh Caddy and Daniel Rioli.
Richmond had the five youngest players on the ground last Wednesday night in Balta (19), Ross (18), Stack (18), Baker (21) and Jack Higgins (20).
