Richmond AFLW has made one change to its line-up for Sunday's Indigenous Round match against Hawthorn. 

The Tigers will host the Hawks from 4.10pm in the first of two weeks of the AFLW Indigenous Round, with Meg Macdonald recalled for her first outing of the season.

The 24-year-old inside midfielder will add to the six games she played in her debut AFLW season earlier this year.

She replaces fellow midfielder Meagan Kiely, who will miss the clash due to a finger injury.

Richmond's three emergencies for the match are Sophie Molan, Sarah D'Arcy and Kodi Jacques.

The Round 3 game will be broadcast live on 7mate, Fox Footy, Kayo Sports and on the AFL Women's app.

The Tigers will wear their third Indigenous guernsey for this Sunday's clash and for next weekend's Round 4 Dreamtime game against Essendon, designed by Indigenous artist Josie Atkinson in consultation with Gabby Seymour, Maddy Brancatisano and Ellie McKenzie.

Versatile Tiger Maddie Shevlin will play her 25th AFLW game on Sunday, 12 of which will have been played for Richmond since she arrived from Collingwood ahead of last season.

"(She's shown) great resilience to stick at her game and work through some challenges," Tigers' coach Ryan Ferguson said of Shevlin.

"Since she's walked through our doors, (we've seen) her investment in our program, her teammates and her love of the game. All forms of footy, men's footy, women's footy, local footy.

"She's a student of the game and she loves it and we love her enthusiasm."
