Richmond excitement machine Shai Bolton has been announced as a finalist for the 2022 AFL Goal of the Year.
Bolton's brilliant goal occurred in Richmond's 38-point Round 4 win over the Western Bulldogs.
The 23-year-old intercepted the ball, before weaving through his opponents and snapping the goal on his non-preferred left foot from an incredible angle on the boundary.
The 2022 All-Australian finished the game with 20 disposals, five clearances and two goals, earning himself 10 coaches votes in a dazzling performance.
The lively Tiger is in the running for the award alongside Essendon's Sam Draper and Collingwood's Josh Daicos.
Voting for this year's rebel Goal of the Year award closes on Tuesday, September 6 at 10am.
