Richmond stars Tom Lynch and Dion Prestia stormed home in the AFL Coaches’ Association Champion Player of the Year award for 2022.

Lynch polled 27 votes in the last four games of the season to finish with 55 votes all-up.

Prestia picked up 24 votes in the last three home-and-away rounds, to finish on 50 votes.

Excitement machine Shai Bolton was Richmond’s top vote-getter this year in the prestigious coaches’ award.

Bolton, who was honoured with an inaugural All-Australian blazer at last night’s AFL awards function, finished equal 11th with 57 votes.
