Richmond has confirmed a trade with the GWS GIANTS that will see defender Libby Graham arrive at the Swinburne Centre.
In exchange, the Tigers have parted ways with selection No. 68 at the upcoming 2022 AFLW Draft.
Graham, who stands at 176cm has played six games at AFLW level after being recruited as a newcomer to the code from soccer two years ago.
The 25-year-old will help provide key defensive cover in the absence of Harriet Cordner who ruptured her ACL in January.
Richmond AFLW Recruiting Manager Trent Mosbey said that the Club saw huge upside in Graham.
"Libby is a tough, athletic and competitive key defender, who we can see playing on multiple sized opponents," he added.
"She particularly stood out for us playing for Williamstown in the VFLW in 2021, with her attack on the contest and ability to win one-on-ones really catching our attention."
Following an extensive soccer background, Graham has also played football for the Manly Warringah Wolves in the AFL Sydney Women's competition.
Richmond now holds selections 38, 52 and 86 at the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft set to be held on June 29. Graham joins Grace Egan and Steph Williams as inclusions in this AFLW Sign and Trade Period.
