Maurice Rioli jnr celebrates one of his three goals in Friday night's win over West Coast.

Richmond rebounded from a two-game losing run with a 109-point victory over West Coast at Optus Stadium on Friday night, improving their season record to 3-4.

The Eagles were on the back foot right from the opening bounce, with Richmond dominating possession and exerting immense pressure in the 8.8 (56) to 25.15 (165) contest.

The Tigers got the jump on the Eagles in the first quarter, booting seven goals in the first term alone.

Remarkably Richmond's first 11 goals all came from turnovers, with the Eagles' disconnected ball movement allowing the Tigers to toy with them at times. Richmond kicked 20.8 for the game from turnovers.

It didn’t get much better from there for West Coast, with the Tigers piling on five more goals in the second term to take a 64-point lead into the main break.

Josh Kennedy got the Eagles off to the perfect start in the second half, kicking a goal with another soon after, but any hopes of a comeback were quickly put to bed as the Tigers kicked five in a row to enter the final change 88 points in front.

The Tigers took the foot off the pedal a little in the final term, cruising to a very comfortable victory.

Tom Lynch marked his 200th AFL game with a seven-goal haul and eight contested marks, while Jack Riewoldt helped himself to four majors.

Shai Bolton kicked three with 30 disposals and 15 score involvements, and Jason Castagna, Maurice Rioli jnr and Kamdyn McIntosh dined out with three majors each. Jayden Short was handed a rare run in the midfield in Cotchin's absence and was outstanding with 31 disposals.

Lynch’s milestone wasn’t the only one reached during the game, with Kennedy booting his 700th career goal in the final term.

The Eagles’ dour night was compounded by a hamstring injury to Willie Rioli, who was subbed out of the game at half-time.

The only worry for the Tigers was an ankle injury to Dion Prestia, who was subbed out of the game at three-quarter-time.
