Richmond has added three players to its extended squad for Sunday afternoon's Round 3 match against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

Dylan Grimes, Jack Riewoldt and Maurice Rioli have all been included in the 26-man squad for the seventh annual Maddie's Match.

Co-captain Grimes was a late withdrawal from last weekend's win over GWS after pulling up sore from training ahead of the game, while Riewoldt required thumb surgery following Round 1 against Carlton.

Talented small forward Rioli is in line for his first senior game since Round 2, 2021, and third overall, after impressing in Richmond VFL's opening round win last weekend with 18 disposals, nine tackles and a goal.

"His pressure and tackling was outstanding and he took a fantastic overhead mark in the forward line and hit the scoreboard," Richmond VFL coach Steve Morris said of Rioli's efforts. 

Richmond will confirm its starting 22 tomorrow night at 5.00pm AEST.

The Club will then name its medical substitute 60 minutes prior to the bounce on Sunday. 

Sunday’s game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, FOX FOOTY and Kayo from 3pm.
