Star Richmond midfielder Monique Conti has again been voted best in the eyes of the coaches following Saturday's 23-point win over West Coast at Mineral Resources Park.
Conti polled a perfect 10 in the votes on the weekend for the second time this season, after also topping the coaches' votes in Rounds 1 (10 votes) and 2 (8 votes).
The 22-year-old was prolific for the Tigers, amassing 24 disposals, including 16 contested possessions, five inside-50s, five clearances and one goal.
Averaging 24 disposals per game in 2022, Conti is currently leading the competition in average contested possessions (15) and average clearances (5.6).
Now with 40 votes, the dual Richmond AFLW best and fairest winner is now sitting in fifth place on the overall AFLCA tally, nine votes behind Fremantle's Hayley Miller and North Melbourne's Ashleigh Riddell, who currently sit atop of the leaderboard with 49 points each.
Speaking to Channel 7 after the win, Conti said it was a true team performance.
"We've got a great group and everyone plays their role perfectly well," she said.
"We go out there every week not to compete anymore but to try and win, and that's our mindset for the next few weeks."
Working in tandem with Conti through the midfield was young Tiger star Ellie McKenzie, who, in her third game back from injury, polled seven votes from the coaches for her performance which included 17 disposals, 10 contested possessions, six inside 50s and one goal.
Rounding out the Round 7 vote-getters from Saturday's win were skipper Katie Brennan (15 disposals, seven contested possessions, two goals), Tayla Stahl (four disposals, three goals) and Gabby Seymour (18 disposals, 12 contested possessions, five tackles, seven hit-outs).
