The ball cleared the pack, but Griffiths was first to recover, gathering the ball deep in the pocket and delivering a miraculous checkside goal to give the Tigers a 12-point lead.
The number eight goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Wednesday September 17.
