Nahas flags Tiger faith
Speedy, skilful small forward Robbie Nahas has cited the growing belief within Richmond’s playing group as a significant factor in the team’s improved form.
Nahas said that self-belief had contributed to Richmond’s stirring eight-point victory over St Kilda at Etihad Stadium last Friday night in a match hailed as one of the best this season.

“I think the old Richmond would have lost this one, but the new Richmond, we always feel like we’re in control of the game,” Nahas said.
“So, even though we were four points down twice in that last quarter, we always felt that we were going to win the game.
“And, I think that’s the difference between the old Richmond and the new Richmond.”

The 24-year-old, in his 65th game, was a catalyst in the Tigers’ win, gathering 18 possessions, laying four tackles, kicking two valuable goals, and having a hand in several others with his lively, constructive play up forward.
Nahas, who kicked 29 goals last season, and finished equal sixth in the Jack Dyer Medal, is currently third on Richmond’s goalkicking list, with 12 goals.
