Richmond’s mature-age recruit, top-class key defender Robbie Tarrant, will wear the No. 6 guernsey in his 2022 debut season at Tigerland.
Tarrant, who was traded to Richmond from North Melbourne at the end of last season, takes the number worn with such distinction by two other Tigers recruited from rival league clubs – Paul Sproule (Essendon) and Shaun Grigg (Carlton).
Exciting, young, tall backman Josh Gibcus, selected by Richmond with its first pick in the recent 2021 AFL national draft, has been handed the No. 28 guernsey.
Tom Brown, taken by the Tigers with their second selection in the draft, receives the No. 30, made famous at Punt Road by Club ‘Immortal’ Francis Bourke.
Tyler Sonsie, who was Richmond’s third draft pick, will wear the No. 40 guernsey, with fourth pick, Sam Banks, assigned No. 41 and fifth pick, Judson Clarke, taking No. 42.
