Richmond members can gain free entry to next Saturday’s Sandown Spring Carnival Race Day at Sandown Racecourse. 

Richmond players Kane Lambert and Jayden Short, as well as Tiger Stripes the mascot, will be in attendance as the Victorian Spring Racing Carnival comes to a close on Saturday, November 12.

There will also be plenty of entertainment for the kids, with footy inflatables, rides, jumping castle, face painting and more, from 12pm to 4pm on the front lawn.

The QuayClean Zipping Classic is run over a distance of 2400 metres and worth $300,000 in prize money. Last year’s event was won by Who Shot Thebarman.

This year’s Group 2 QuayClean Zipping Classic and Ladbrokes Sandown Guineas feature a classy card, with a further four Group 3s and four Listed races in a fitting curtain call for the stars of the spring.

Richmond members are eligible to gain complimentary general admission to the racecourse, on presentation of their 2016 membership card.

Gates open at 11:15am, with Race 1 kicking off proceedings at 12:25pm and the last at 5:55pm.
