With pick 21 in the 2024 National Draft, the Tigers snapped up key defender Trainor after an impressive season with various teams.
The Brighton Grammar student starred for the Sandringham Dragons and Vic Metro while picking up the best player medal for the AFL Academy side as a diligent defender who can both lock down and provide rebound.
Trainor is the grandson of Geelong and North Melbourne goal-kicking great Doug Wade.
