The Richmond Football Club has announced the start of a three-year partnership which will formalise SKINS as the official compression garment of the Club.

“We strongly recommend our players wear SKINS during and post-games to improve circulation, reduce muscle and joint inflammation and help with recovery,” said Elite Performance Manager, Matthew Hornsby.

“The compressive aspect of all SKINS garments assists with player performance, and the inclusion in our recovery programs has resulted in players having reduced muscle soreness and faster recovery times,” he said.

“We also find them beneficial when travelling interstate on long flights, as they help with veinus return and the reduction of lactic acid build-up.”

SKINS are proven to deliver more oxygen to your muscles through Dynamic Gradient Compression, reducing lactic acid build up, enhancing muscle restoration and lowering post exercise pain.

The use of SKINS has long been a feature of many Richmond players’ training, match-day and travelling routines.

“Training with SKINS allows me to push harder and get more out of myself each and every session,” said Richmond defender Kelvin Moore.

“The use of SKINS whilst training gives me greater confidence in my body’s ability to recover. I find I’m optimising my sessions in the gym and on the track because I know I can train hard and be less fatigued,” Moore said.

“SKINS are a crucial feature of our physical preparation and recovery,” Hornsby said. “I have no doubt our playing group will continue to improve and greatly benefit from the ongoing use of these elite products.”
