Experienced Richmond-listed players David Astbury, Matt Dea and Steven Morris return to the VFL squad for this weekend’s final home-and-away match.
The Tigers take on Essendon in their last game for the season, with Astbury and Dea returning after missing last week’s match, while Morris has been named in the squad after being omitted from the AFL team.
Tigers’ key forward Liam McBean heads into the game with 40 goals for the season so far, just one goal behind Port Melbourne’s Jordan Lisle and Box Hill’s Sam Grimley, in the race for the Frosty Miller Medal.
Richmond lost to Collingwood by 73 points last week, while the Bombers are looking to lock in a top four position heading into the finals.
Saturday’s game starts at 1pm, a few hours before the AFL match between Essendon and Richmond, which kicks off at 7.20pm at the MCG.
Regular game updates can be followed via the Richmond VFL Twitter account.
