Champion onballer Monique Conti has claimed her sixth consecutive Richmond AFLW Best and Fairest Award.
Conti (21 votes) held on to win a thrilling count from running defender turned midfielder Eilish Sheerin (20).
The pair finished as the Award’s quinella for a third consecutive year, with Kate Dempsey and Ellie McKenzie (17 votes) next behind in equal third.
Key defender Bec Miller (16) finished in fifth, her best finish since she was runner-up in 2022, and Gabby Seymour, Beth Lynch, Grace Egan, and Poppy Kelly (14 votes) each tied for sixth.
Skipper Katie Brennan (13 votes) rounded out the top 10.
Conti, who has topped the count in every year of Richmond’s AFLW existence, also won the Western Bulldogs best and fairest in 2019, giving her a staggering seven consecutive club champion awards.
The 24-year-old received maximum votes on two occasions across the year: her 33 disposal and 11 clearance effort against Carlton and her 35 touches in the wet against North Melbourne.
Conti averaged team-high disposals (27.8), clearances (five), and kicks (13) across 2024 and polled votes in 11 of the 12 matches.
The remarkable midfielders AFLW resume now includes her seven club best and fairest awards (2019-24), the AFLW League Best and Fairest (2023), AFLW Players’ MVP (Season 7), five All Australians (2019, 2021, 2022, Season 7, 2023), a premiership (2018) and best on ground in Grand Final Award (2018).
Sheerin, who has now placed runner-up to Conti in each of her three seasons in the competition, missed the opening two games before storming up the leaderboard.
The 32-year-old was level with Conti for the lead after Round 10 but gave up ground in Round 11, which she was unable to regain in the Elimination Final loss.
Sheerin received maximum votes on three occasions across her nine games this year. She led the Club for tackles per game and average metres gained in 2024.
Dempsey finished third in the Award for a second-straight season, while equal-third was McKenzie’s best finish since she was second in her debut year in 2021.
Sixth was a career-high finish for Lynch and Kelly, and it was Egan's third consecutive top-six finish since she returned to the Club in Season 7.
Seymour (3rd in 2020, 2022 and Season 7) has now placed inside the top six of the count on four occasions in the past six seasons.

In another awards on the night, Isabel Bacon and Mackenzie Ford were joint winners of the Best First Year Player Award, while Brennan and Caitlin Greiser tied for the Leading Goalkicker Award.
As voted by her teammates, the ever-reliable Lynch received the Players' Player Award.
