The inside midfielder, who was sidelined for the past two games due to a calf injury, will inject plenty of experience into the Tigers' centre for the clash with the Giants.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday morning, senior coach Adem Yze said the 31-year-old would be a welcome return.
"He was almost ready last week, so we got a bit more volume into him," Yze said.
"Which is awesome. He's a leader of our footy club and really important to the way that we play."
Also returning to the side is second-year defender James Trezise after a sensational outing in the VFL Tigers' 95-point win over the Northern Bullants last weekend, amassing 28 disposals at 93% disposal efficiency and nine rebound-50s.
Trezise last played senior football in Round 2, where he suffered a moderate syndesmosis injury, but has built his form up nicely in the VFL since recovering.
Richmond VFL coach Steve Morris said the 22-year-old had been "banging the door down" for a senior recall.
"James is in incredible form at the moment, and it’s mostly based off the back of his defensive efforts in recent weeks," Morris said.
"We've seen his offensive game grow each and every week, and seeing his speed on offence on the weekend was really pleasing."
Also returning to the senior side is lively youngster Steely Green, who booted two goals in the VFL win and will add to his two career AFL games on the weekend.
Rounding out the inclusions is emerging tall Samson Ryan, fresh off signing a new three-year deal, who returns from a syndesmosis injury.
Out of the Round 18 side is Seth Campbell, who is being managed, as well as omitted trio Kane McAuliffe, Noah Cumberland and Jacob Blight.
Richmond’s three emergencies for Round 18 are Cumberland, Blight and Thomson Dow.
Sunday's clash at the 'G will be dedicated to the the Club's preferred charity partner, the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.
Your support helps to provide a child escaping violence with a buddy bag, packed with essentials they need in their way to safety.
The match against the Giants kicks off at 3.20pm, and can be viewed live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.
Yze said the annual Alannah & Madeline Foundation match was one the Club was extremely proud of.
"It's a relationship we're really proud of... the support we give that foundation and the quality of work that they do," he said.
"We can't wait to get going on Sunday and showcase that.
"They're in some really good form... (it's) a great challenge at our ground in front of our fans to really take it to one of the top teams in the competition."
