Following a slow start to his debut season with Richmond, Jacob Koschitzke is showing good signs.
Koschitzke, who transferred to the Tigers from Hawthorn in last year’s trade period, had a lengthy stint in the VFL early this season, but is now establishing himself in the senior side.
The 196cm forward was a valuable contributor for Richmond in last night’s loss to Fremantle at Optus Stadium, finishing the match with 11 disposals, six marks and three score involvements.
He provided the Tigers with a strong presence up forward, bringing the ball to ground when he couldn’t mark it.
In his past three games, Koschitzke is averaging 11.6 disposals, 5.0 marks, 1.0 goals and 4.6 score involvements.
He also has been providing Toby Nankervis with some handy ruck back-up.
