Richmond supporters celebrate Dustin Martin's opening goal against Hawthorn in Round 14.

The impressive, unwavering support of the Tiger Army is again highlighted with an analysis of aggregate crowd numbers now we have moved beyond all bye rounds in the 2024 AFL home-and-away season.

Richmond currently has the fourth highest attendance total of the 18 clubs, despite sitting 17th on the ladder with a 2-12 record.

The Tigers have had a total of 648,788 fans attend their 14 matches, with an average crowd of 46,342, with only Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon drawing more.

Remarkably, all three of those teams are placed in the top four of the ladder, and played at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round, whereas Richmond played St Kilda in front of 9,425 at a sold out Norwood Oval.

Of the 12 games so far in 2024 to have more than 70,000 attend, Richmond has featured in four of them, with Carlton (five) the only team to have more.

Another big crowd is expected when the Tigers host the Blues at the MCG from 3.20pm this Sunday, June 30 in the first of four rounds where kids get in for free.
