Richmond AFLW coach Ryan Ferguson has strong belief his side will "get to work" and return to the winners' list.
Saturday night's 17-point Dreamtime loss to Essendon at Ikon Park was the Tigers' third defeat in a row, but Ferguson remains confident the group can turn things around for the remaining three clashes of the season.
"I have faith in this group," Ferguson said.
"They're never out of the game... which is the trait of a group with strong character.
"But we need to put ourselves in better positions."
Ferguson said the group would be "licking our wounds, getting better and coming out red hot" ahead of Round 8 against Hawthorn in Cairns on Friday night.
"You're challenged by availability and that makes it tough, but (we know) what we're capable of and I think we can play better footy than what we played tonight," he said.
"Disappointing that we couldn't get the job done but excitement for the next week... We've got three more opportunities to win.
"We travel well and enjoy each other's company but travel with a purpose."
