Talented, young Richmond defender Dylan Grimes has been recalled to the Tigers’ line-up for Saturday’s Round 21 clash with Carlton at the MCG.
It will be Grimes’ first appearance at AFL level since the Round 6 match against Geelong this season.
The 21-year-old was sidelined for more than a couple of months with a stress fracture in his foot.

He has gradually built up his match-fitness base over the past few weeks with Coburg in the VFL, and after some solid performances, is now ready to resume at Richmond.
Ricky Petterd also returns to the side after missing two weeks with a minor groin injury.
They replace Chris Newman, who has a slight ankle injury, and Robin Nahas, who has been omitted.
The three Tiger emergencies for Saturday’s game are Matt McDonough, Brad Helbig and Liam McBean.
