Richmond VFL has named its side to take on Geelong on Saturday morning at the Swinburne Centre.

Off the back of last weekend's bye, the Tigers will host the Cats from 11.05am, with VFL-listed player Matt Clarkson set to make his debut.

The son of former AFL player and four-time premiership coach Alastair Clarkson, the small defender has smarts and foot skills that can open the game up from the back half.

The 18-year-old graduated from the Sandringham Dragons and Caulfield Grammar last season, where he was part of both premiership winning sides. 

Also coming into the side are Richmond's AFL emergencies Tylar Young, Tyler Sonsie and Judson Clarke, as well as AFL Tigers Noah Cumberland and Kaelan Bradkte. 

VFL-listed players Tom Brindley and Misilifi Faimalo also re-join the line-up.

Out of the team are Thomson Dow, Hugo Ralphsmith, Rhyan Mansell, Nathan Philactides, Luke Teal, Archie May, Ben Bilston-McGillen and Max Clohesy.

Saturday's match against the Cats kicks off at 11.05am can be watched via the AFL website and the AFL Live Official App.

Richmond members can get entry to Tigerland on Sunday when they show their membership card at the gate.
