The 2019 draftee was closing in on a senior game late in 2020 and that form came to fruition early in 2021.
Martyn made his debut in round four against Port Adelaide and acquitted himself well in the narrow defeat.
He added a second game to his tally in round 23 against Hawthorn.
The hard-at-it midfielder will be intent on progressing further in 2022 after penning a one-year extension last year.
