Dempsey, 29, has had the best of her six AFLW seasons in 2023 and 2024. The winger placed third in Richmond’s best and fairest last year and has again been brilliant for Richmond this year. Remarkably after playing just one game in Richmond’s 2020 AFLW debut season due to injury and illness, Dempsey has played 52 consecutive games for the Tigers. The former VFLW Tiger has excellent foot skills and high endurance, making her an ideal outside runner. Away from football, Dempsey once opened the batting for Victoria at underage level and is a mother and provisional psychologist. AWARDS: 3rd Place Richmond AFL Best and Fairest (2023).
