Sansonetti is a rangy defender from the Northern Knights, taken by the Tigers with their fourth selection (No. 40 overall) at the 2019 NAB AFLW Draft. While excellent defensively and capable of playing on both talls and smalls, Sansonetti also reads the play well and can intercept, rebound and launch an attack. The 20-year played nine games for Richmond across her first two seasons.
