Richmond rookie Liam Baker has been offered a one-match sanction by AFL Victoria’s Match Review Panel for contact made with Williamstown's Peter Faulks in the opening quarter of Saturday night's qualifying final.
Baker was reported for rough conduct against Faulks from a marking contest in front of the Jack Dyer Stand, with the incident assessed as intentional conduct with medium impact and body contact.
The incident was classified as a two-match base sanction, but Baker can accept the one match with an early guilty plea.
Should he accept the charge on offer, the 20-year-old will be ineligible for both the senior side's qualifying final against Hawthorn on Thursday night and Richmond VFL's semi final against Essendon on Saturday at North Port Oval.
