Richmond greats, Kevin Bartlett and Matthew Richardson have lent their voices to the official recording of the new version of the Club’s song.
Bartlett and Richardson will forever be part of the iconic Tiger tune, after their voices were mixed into the new recording.
In the off-season, the AFL recorded new versions of each AFL Club’s song, to be played on match day in season 2018.
Richmond led a push to correct the lyrics of its song to “risking head and shin”, rather than “skin”.
The new recording will be played at a packed MCG next Thursday night, March 22 as the Tigers enter the arena for their Round 1 blockbuster against Carlton.
