Richmond has included three premiership players in its 15-man squad bound for Sydney’s AFLX tournament this weekend.
Premiership forwards Dan Butler and Jason Castagna, along with defender Nathan Broad, have been included in the Tigers’ squad for the tournament at Allianz Stadium this Saturday.
Fans will also have their first look at draftee Jack Higgins, the Club’s first round selection in last year’s AFL national draft, along with fellow first year players, Ben Miller, Noah Balta, Liam Baker and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, who have all been included in the squad.
Richmond assistant coach Justin Leppitsch and development coach Xavier Clarke will coach the Tigers in the game’s newest form.
The Tigers will play in the opening match of the Sydney tournament against GWS, then face Brisbane for their second match later that afternoon.
