Richmond will unveil its new Official Match Ball Partner on Thursday night, with United Petroleum joining the Tigers for at least the next two years.
The United Petroleum logo will appear on Richmond’s match-day footballs for the Club’s home games in the 2017 and 2018 AFL seasons.
Richmond CEO, Brendon Gale, was pleased to announce the partnership.
“We look forward to building a longstanding relationship with United,” Gale said.
“We see that this partnership will be of great benefit to both the Club and United Petroleum – a leading Australian company with a strong reputation.”
United Petroleum is an independent, Australian-owned petrol and convenience company which offers customers premium quality fuels and competitive pricing Australia-wide.
It is one of the fastest growing independent companies in Australia, specialising in retail and wholesale fuel markets, convenience stores and ethanol manufacture; generating employment for over 2,500 Australians.
United Petroleum’s National Marketing Manager, Andrew English, said the partnership was a great opportunity for the two organisations, who share strong values and a genuine commitment to positively impacting the community.
“We’re very happy to be on board with the Tigers for what promises to be an exciting season ahead,” English said.
“We have sites in every state and territory in Australia and are well positioned to continue to grow our retail network with a strong focus on delivering high quality, competitively priced fuels and conveniences.”
The Tigers also recently announced Bang & Olufsen as their official Audio-Visual Partner, Plenary Group as Richmond Academy Partner and Progressclaim.com as a joint-major partner of the Club’s VFL program.
