Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has expressed his admiration for Jack Riewoldt in the lead-up to the star Tiger key forward’s 200th game of league football.
Riewoldt will reach the significant milestone in Sunday’s Round 21 clash with Geelong at the MCG.
“He loves his footy, he’s emotionally invested . . . he’s a terrific player,” Hardwick said.

“He’s changed as a player, there’s no doubt about that.
“I think when we first arrived here, he was very much a traditional full-forward. But, as we know, those players are tending to go out of the game now . . .
“He’s improved, I think, nearly every year I’ve been here, which is a credit to him and how hard he works.
“People don’t realise, he’s an undersized key forward, but he’s got incredible ‘smarts’ . . . a great football brain.
“He’s an incredible talent and we’re very lucky to have him.
“For him to play to the level he has, over the period of my seven years, has been outstanding.
“We look forward to him playing a lot more in Richmond colours.”
