Richmond has regained the services of talented tall forward Ben Griffiths for Saturday’s big twilight clash with ladder leader Fremantle at the MCG.
Griffiths missed the Tigers’ past two games due to a shoulder injury that he sustained in the Round 14 win against Greater Western Sydney.
He underwent a minor clean-up of the shoulder, but has now fully recovered.
Also returning to the Richmond line-up for the Round 17 match against the Dockers is forward Sam Lloyd, who has been in good form at VFL level.
Griffiths and Lloyd replace Nathan Gordon and Matt McDonough, who have both been omitted.
The Tigers’ three emergencies are McDonough, Matt Dea and Matt Thomas.
