Richmond key forward Ty Vickery has been cleared of knee damage, following last Saturday’s VFL practice match against Essendon.
Vickery came from the field during the second quarter of the match, and did not return.
Scans did not reveal any structural damage, however there is some swelling and soreness around the knee.
As a result, the 24-year-old is likely to miss one week.
Meanwhile, midfielder Reece Conca is likely to miss this weekend’s match against the Western Bulldogs as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
Conca was unavailable for selection for the Tigers’ opening round clash with Carlton.
In positive injury news at Tigerland, veteran Nathan Foley has recovered from a foot injury, and is likely to play a part in Richmond’s VFL practice match against Footscray at the ME Bank Centre this Saturday.
