Minor knee surgery has temporarily halted the pre-season of Richmond midfielder Reece Conca.
The 22-year-old had the surgery earlier this week, but the Club expects him to be back running by next week.
“The surgery was very minor, and we’re expecting he’ll be back in the main group shortly, and take part in the pre-season matches,” said Richmond General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson.
“Reece didn’t miss a session prior to Christmas, so he has a solid fitness base behind him.”

Meanwhile, the Tigers’ first selection at the 2014 National Draft, Corey Ellis, has recovered well from the minor foot surgery he had in December.
Ellis was on light duties at today’s training session at the ME Bank Centre, taking part in running drills.
