Richmond’s VFL team will kick off its 2015 campaign with an away game against Coburg on Saturday, April 18 at 2pm.
The VFL’s 2015 home-and-away fixture, which was released today (Thursday, December 18), reveals that Richmond will play 15 of its 18 games on a Saturday and just four on Sundays.
The Tigers’ Round 2 match is against Frankston at Frankston on Anzac Day (Saturday, April 25) from 2pm.
Their first home game at the ME Bank Centre will take place on Saturday, May 2, at 11am against Geelong.
That’s the start of three consecutive ME Bank Centre home games, with Richmond then hosting North Ballarat on Saturday, May 9 (11am start) and Collingwood on Saturday, May 16 (12.30pm start).
The VFL Dreamtime game against Essendon is scheduled for the ME Bank Centre on Saturday, May 30 at 2pm.
Richmond’s two byes are in Round 9 and Round 17, with the Tigers meeting Essendon in the final home-and-away round, on Saturday, August 29 at Windy Hill.
