Richmond ruckman Ivan Maric will remain a Tiger until at least the end of the 2016 season after signing a two-year contract extension with the Club.
The 28-year-old is playing his third season at Tigerland, after six years at Adelaide, and is currently working his way back from ankle surgery.
“We’re thrilled to have Ivan commit to the Club for another two seasons,” said Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson.

“He has become an incredibly consistent and valued member of the playing group at Richmond, and has added strong leadership qualities, both on and off the field.”
Maric made an instant impact in his first season at Richmond, in 2012, when he played 21 games, finished third in the Jack Dyer Medal, and was an All-Australian nominee.
By the beginning of the 2013 season, he was voted into the Club’s leadership group, and added another 20 games to his career tally as the Tigers’ No. 1 ruckman.
Maric has played a total of 118 games and kicked 45 goals in his career so far.
