Having smashed the record crowd figure for a match against Hawthorn, Richmond is now setting its sights on another long-standing attendance achievement.
The Tigers drew 64,324 to last Saturday’s Round 19 clash with the Hawks at the MCG, easily eclipsing the previous best crowd return, for an encounter between the two sides, of 57,572.

It was the seventh time this season that Richmond has attracted more than 50,000 to a game.
That is the most 50,000-plus crowds in a home-and-away season for the Tigers since 2001, when they last played finals.
In that season, they broke through the 50,000 crowd barrier eight times.
Six years earlier, when Richmond made the finals in 1995, for the first time since 1982, the Club achieved the 50,000-plus attendance figure during the home-and-away season on 10 occasions.
