Richmond players Ty Vickery and Jake King took time off from their busy pre-season training schedule to spend time with some children at Monash Children’s Hospital yesterday.
The Tiger pair walked through the hospital wards to meet with the young patients and wish them a merry Christmas.
“No-one wants to be in hospital at Christmas time, so it’s nice that we can put a smile on the kids’ faces, and their families, during this challenging time,” Vickery said.
The pair met with children of all ages, handing out footballs, signing autographs and posing for photos, in their afternoon visit to the hospital.
