Richmond's Beth Lynch has been handed a fine by the MRO after a rough conduct incident in Sunday's 11-point win over Adelaide.

During the first quarter at IKON Park in Richmond's first win of the season, Lynch was cited for rough conduct (first offence) against Adelaide's Amy Boyle-Carr.

The incident has been graded as intentional conduct, low impact and body contact.

It has resulted in a $400 fine, which can be reduced to $250 with an early plea.

Richmond now turns its focus to Saturday night's Pride Round blockbuster against North Melbourne at IKON Park from 7.15pm (AEDT).
